At Barriers Against Repeated Cruelty (BARC), our mission is to call attention to the correlation between animal abuse and domestic violence. It is inhumane and unacceptable. It is our responsibility to give a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves and give rise to changes in legislation in bringing about justice for these crimes and more importantly, giving victims the aid they need.
BARC will deliver on this vision by implementing our Action Plans:
Action Plans
Action Plan 1: Become a Network and resource for Rescuers and Animals on Death Row. We assist in funding, vetting and using our network to place animals with Rescue groups to find them homes.
Action Plan 2: By working with our sister organization,Realtors to the Rescue (RTTR) and Animal Emergency and Treatment Center (AETC) we have started an Emergency Vetting Fund.
